HIGHLIGHTS

The team had a successful first meet at the Skyline Invite this past Saturday. We saw some impressive marks from new athletes and a few PRs from returners. Meet results are available here.

Coach Betts and I are pleased to welcome Coach Booby Pope to the Coaching team this week. Bobby will be working with the Sprints/Hurdles/Relays group.

We received our order of new vaulting poles and other equipment for the season. Additional equipment is on the way, to ensure we are training with the best resources available to us.

THE WEEK TO COME

We have our second competition this Saturday at the Dan Gabor Invite, all eligible athletes will be entered to compete, and we will need parents to help drive to a from the meet. We will have two departure times, a morning departure for Sprints & Field Events, and an Evening Departure for Distance.  Parent superstar Rie Uzawa has agreed to help organize our transportation this year.

Our parent meeting is this week on Wednesday March 2 at 6:00pm. Parents should also review the parent information page.

Dates have been set for our 2016 Lake Tahoe Summer camp, so mark your calendars. We will be in South Lake Tahoe from Sunday July 31st through Sunday August 7th.
