WEEK IN REVIEW

This Saturday the team was be split between two meets on the Peninsula . 14 Athletes races at the Stanford Invitational where many of them got to meet college coaches & athletes and receive a tour of Stanford from XC Alumnus Ben Barcklay. Other team members raced at the Ram Invite in Daly City. We had many great races and lots of learning opportunities at both meets, including a number of medal winners. I am especially proud of those athletes at Ram who stepped up to run their first races in the Varsity Division.

THE WEEK TO COME

Athletes should review the 3mile course map for Hayward High School on the Maps Page.

We will have a strategy & team building session during practice on Tuesday this week.

The first day of Track & Field will be Monday, February 8th. All athletes will need to have completed packets by that date. The majority of Cross Country runners will have an easy time of this as they have already complete their paperwork.

Dates have been set for our 2016 Lake Tahoe Summer camp, so mark your calendars. We will be in South Lake Tahoe from Sunday July 31st through Sunday August 7th.
